When our design and fabrication services tackle conversions, modifications and special application projects, the initial need is for information sufficient to gain a general understanding of the basic needs of our customers.

In an effort to meet our desire to ensure that the final product meets all its proposed operational requirements, prior to the commencement of any project, close discussion will take place with our customer’s key personnel to fully develop the product’s build specification, thus maximising its operation performance.

Over the many years that our business has been operating, we have actively sought innovative applications for converted ISO shipping containers, by designing and manufacturing innovative products for the Australian Defence Forces, major industrial and mining corporations and our clients in many other customer categories.

All work is carried out by experienced and qualified tradesman on the company’s three-hectare site in Brisbane where its three modern workshops are capable of meeting the engineering needs of all customers.

Container Sales Australias' engineers will research and source key equipment items that best suit the purpose and available space constraints.

Where required, we will also provide a Technical Package, which may include AutoCad structural, and general arrangement drawings, Operating Instructions Manual, Service Manual, parts list or any other documentation necessary, such as separate lifting and handling instructions.

The new Australian National Standard for the Storage and Handling of Dangerous Goods requires a proactive approach to the management of hazardous chemicals and Container Sales Australia can provide that approach. We are proud of our leading role in the design and construction of “HazardStore” custom facilities for compliant storage of a wide range of chemicals and other hazardous substances, including Class 1 Explosives.

This has resulted in the construction of chemical stores and ammunition stores to Australian Standards.

We offer an obligation-free preliminary evaluation service to assess your specific requirements and are able to develop a proposal to cost-effectively engineer a solution to your chemical storage problems.

It is a requirement of current workplace and environmental legislation that Hazardous Substances be stored in specifically prescribed and properly constructed storage facilities.

Standard features of the Container Sales Australia facilities include roof and wall ventilation, bund, drainage valves, earth stake, MSDS holders, anchor points and secure locking.

We can also offer a variety of optional features for installation including shelving, decanting bench, static electricity dissipation for decanting flammables and lighting, while Safety Cabinet storage facilities are also available for various classes of Hazardous Substances.

Container Sales Australia, with two qualified inspectors, are in a position to be able to offer certification of compliance of our “HazardStores” to the relevant Australian Standard.

The nature and quantity of our customer’s inventory will largely determine the type of “HazardStore” that is required.
